Kate Spade Broome Street Jeans are an excellent fitted jean option for cuffing
and look polished with both flats and heels. The lining detail for many similar jeans feature trademark designer markings, such as the KS red liner seen here.
Cuffed Jeans DO's:
- Do make it look like you did it on purpose. Meaning, avoid the I-just-didn't-have-time-to-tailor-my-jeans-so-I'm-rolling-them look.
- Do wear fabulous shoes or sandals. Your shoes become more of a highlight with cuffed jeans, so make sure they are cool (or at the very least clean!)
- Roll skinny, fitted, boyfriend jeans (pretty much any type of jean besides what is listed below in the Don't section).
- Wear with heels, flats, booties...you name it!
Cuffed Jeans DON'Ts:
- Don't cuff your jeans if it is freezing outside. Cold ankles are never chic.
- Please don't cuff bell-bottom jeans. Your feet will end up looking like...well...bells!
- Avoid this look for very formal occassions. There is a relaxed/hip vibe that comes with cuffed jeans that just doesn't mix well with a champagne brunch at Trump Tower.
Some looks to inspire:
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley makes her way through Heathrow with a large printed scarf, Samra flats and cuffed jeans. This is such a easy, comfortable style for your next flight.
Heidi Klum also rocking the cuffed jeans paired with a big scarf.
Everyone who reads Kendi Everyday has seen her rock the cuffed jeans style in multiple ways. Here she rolls a candy-colored J.Crew pair to achieve a polished look.
Another fabulous blogger who is a fan of the cuffed jean is Blair from Atlantic-Pacific.
Pair heels and a dark wash jean to achieve a sexy and slimming look!
One of my style favorites, Rachel Bilson, walks the streets in Italy wearing cuffed jeans with booties. This is a great way to embrace the current menswear trend.
Are you a fan of cuffed jeans? If so, how do you prefer to rock the look?!
