The ever amazing Wah Nails have teamed up with Models Own again on a new collaboration that will blow their high street nail polish competitors (and high end, for that matter) out of the water... They are releasing their own take on the shatter polish trend - 'Smash Up' - in 9 bright shades!
We've all heard about the black Barry M and OPI shatter polishes, but Models Own have put their own stamp on the trend by offering such a diverse range of shades. I adore the purple and the turquoise shades!
The Black and Silver shades will be available exclusively in Boots from April 20th, and all of the other colours will launch on Models Own's website in April (no specific date yet), priced at £6.
Model's Own clearly have big ideas for 2011, as they have also just launched a salon quality range of 54 polishes - Models Own Pro. The press release best explains the formula:
In a world first, these polishes contain 'Grows Fast. Fades Slow™’ technology – a combination of Vitamin E and UV filters that both aids nail growth and prevents colour fade. In addition, Models Own Pro polishes are free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP.They cost £8, which is a touch steep for my purse strings, but I will certainly buy a couple of shades to try out this revolutionary formula! The range is available exclusively at Boots here!
These two new launches have got me all excited. Not just about future nail art possibilities, but also how awesome it is to see British brands like Models Own and Wah Nails revolutionising nail art and giving the American 'big boys' like OPI some stiff competition.
