Peter Pan collars, Pizzas and Porn...

Yo, yo!

Thanks for the exquisite comments on my latest video blog! It makes me so happy that people have bothered to watch 12 minutes of me yapping on about myself. Definitely going to be doing more vids in the future, so feel free to subscribe to my Youtube if you want to be the first to see them!

So, I'm a Hop Farm Festival widow this weekend as Alex got on the VIP list via my brother who was teching for a band there. Alright for some! I've been shlepping away at work all weekend and Alex has been rubbing shoulders with the stars! He's probably shimmying along to Prince as we speak.

Tonight, I'm editing all the footage from the stuff I filmed in Scotland. You may recall I broke  my camera, so decided to make a 'little' video diary of our adventures using Alex's Flip-style cam. I filmed 123 videos and now have to edit it all down!! The busted camera has now been refunded (woop!) so will be ordering a new one ASAP. Preferably one that can handle being screwed onto a tripod regularly without falling to pieces as my last 3 have! At the mo, I'm borrowing Alex's dad's Sony Cybershot camera, which is amazing! So easy to use and actually has a mean Macro mode (a must for nail art posts!)

This is what I wore to work yesterday. I added a little cat brooch onto the pocket after these pics, but didn't get a snap of it.

I couldn't resist sharing this little picture of Roxy doing her best impression of a draught excluder. She keeps stretching out at random places of the flat at the moment. Trying to cool down in the warm weather, I think! Bless her.

More key moments of my excitement-free zone of a weekend:

- Finding a porn mag and a random photo of a woman in her underwear underneath my underwear drawer! Err, thanks previous tenant! I've always wanted to feel instantly nauseous, so cheers for making it happen.

- Eating a Dr Oetker Mushroom pizza two nights in a row. I had actually planned a more healthy jacket potato for tea tonight, but I left it too late to oven cook it (we don't have a microwave) and the pizza was right there, being all quick-to-cook and scrummy and so on...

- Ordering some ridiculously expensive hair treatment. I don't think I've shared this on the blog before but Androgenetic Alopecia runs in my family so I'm always shelling out my few pennies on extortionate (and usually useless) 'miracle' hair products to keep my hair on my head! Will blog if I find anything awesome for anyone else aboard the Thin Hair Express! I do get a bit depressed about it sometimes, but am just really lucky to have someone that loves me no matter what the future may hold. And obviously my sparkling wit helps make up for my aesthetic downfalls...

- Tennis! This is the first year I've really followed the Tennis. Alex's family are really into it, and I feel really downmarket for not having the foggiest idea how it works, so Alex has been training me up and I'm so into it now! Woo for Djokovic, aka. Screech from Saved by the Bell's stunt double.

I've got one of those headaches tonight that really hurts behind the eye and won't go away. Three painkillers and a vat of Ribena (I don't really 'do' water) have failed to get rid of it. Booo.

I'm off to continue editing our holiday video blog feature film now. Can't wait to share it with you all once it's finished! Make sure you keep 4th December 2013 free!

Hope you're all having delicious weekends! What have you been up to?
