DIY: Deck the Halls in Style!

Looking for an easy and inexpensive way to make your home holiday-ready?

Well look no further!

The lovely ladies of eighteen25 pulled together this feature on creating your own Holiday Subway Art and I just had to share its awesomeness with everyone!

Just 3 easy steps and you'll have your own Christmas subway art to display:
1. Download and print the document. This art is a statement at 16x20! Consider the size of where you want to display the piece (mantle, wall, kitchen counter, etc.) and adjust accordingly.  Download the .jpg HERE
Most bloggers had them printed at *Costco.

2. Buy a frame.
White looks great in this photo, however I also could see spray painting a frame a modern chartreuse or light blue!

3. Add the print to the frame.
And voila!  Everyone who steps foot in your home will utter "Oh, I love that!" to which you can reply, "Oh that?  I made it in my free time."  Color them impressed. :-)

Stop!  It's Banner-time!
(sorry...couldn't help myself.  I am a product of the 80's :-) )

It's quite simple.
1) Just download and print the pennants (download HERE)
2) Then gather some white cardstock, bias tape, and adhesive
3) Hop on-line and visit the wonderful eighteen25 here for a simple tutorial
4) Another voila!  You now own a fun, festive banner that you can use year-after-year

Hope you all enjoyed!
Do you plan on doing any DIY projects for the holiday season?  I'd love to hear about them!

XO - Marion

**The ladies of eighteen25 caution that when ordering your print through Costco, it usually shows a Resolution Warning. Just ignore this warning as it prints just fine.  Also, under print options, check the "do not autocorrect my prints" box.
